  1. I have made sure all the ports are forwarded, and I used the FS port test that Paul has provided, (it says all ports are OK) but I still cannot connect to servers. I am still getting the same error. I am on the teamspeak channel and I hope to talk to you's soonThankyou!
  2. I havn't used FShostclient in a while, its prolly been about a month, and now I just tried to start it up and now I am getting this error message when I try to connect to my favourite server (or any server for that matter)this is the error message that I get when I try to join:Error 0x80158180 enumerating the hosts with port 23456I do not know what is causing it. I have installed a few games, and I had to reset my router in the month that I havn't used Hostclient, but I don't know what could cause this error.I also have used hostspy to try to connect to another server, and I get the same error, no matter the port, or IP.Does any one have any idea what this could be caused by? Thankyou!
  3. Hey I was wondering if the drivers are out? the ones where ya can set your fps...
  4. well actually I dont even get that flat sheet of fog. it just goes to unlimited vilibility.. with no layer generation.. full visibility down to the ground.. but I im gonna install openclouds and I hope that makes it a bit better.. Thankyou
  5. hi guys! I am wondering if there is any way to make a more realistic fog layer generation.. when im flying though the layer of fog, everything is realistic, I cant see very far or anything, but then as soon as I fly though the top of the fog layer, it completly dissapears, and I can see the ground infront of me, although just 2 seconds before I couldnt even see the ground right below my plane..Is there any way to make the layers remain, without lowering the visiblility of the layer above the fog layer?I dont really understand why this occurs, becuase there shouldnt be a difference between fog on the ground, or clouds 10'000 feet up. When I go above the clouds, they do not dissapear, they remain..So is there a way to substitute clouds for fog, or any way to keep the fog so I cant see the ground, but still have different layers?I hope i explaned it clearly sorry if I didnt. If you have any troubles understanding anything just say, and ill try again..Thanks for the help
  6. well the title says it all! well... asks..Whats the best freeware F 16 for fsx out there? There is lots of kirk osland conversions but is there a specific one that is best?or could it be one of the other models other then kirks' viper tha tcould be better?Im looking for realistic flight dynamics, a good VC, and just an overall good quality build.. fun for flying, and good looking for screenshots :PThanks
  7. I just downloaded that, and am using it right now, but it doesnt seem to have any features for what I was needing.. it seems more like a utility for takeoff/landing distance, and setting other functions by entering it on the keyboard.. not what I want.. although some of the things it has are cool.. Its not going into the garbage..but I am looking at that other program and I will see how it does! thanks!but isnt there just some simple program that I can configure words to certain keyboard keys.. like if I say gear. It regonises that and "presses" g.. like it doesnt have to be too complex or anything.. I would mainly use it for just flaps, autopilot, and gear..
  8. holy crap 750 bucks for a joystick? jeese it better come with naked ladies or be made of solid gold or some nice suprise for that kind of money! I could set up a nice 21" dual monitor setup, with enough left over for a GTS 450 to power em!!but I think Ive found a saitek x45 for $20 and unless ppl have had extreamely negitive issues with the stick, I think I will go with it.Thanks for all the help!
  9. Im trying to find some sort of program that gives me a copilot.. Its really tricky trying to handle all of the systems on the larger aircraft while taking off, or landing..The best thing I think would be some sort of voice activated program.. I used to have one for another program a few years ago, but I cant seem to find one for FSX. Im hoping somebody here may know of somthhing good like that..expessially on takeoffs its pretty hard to not only fly the plane, but raise the gear, set the autopilot, raise the flaps, and what ever else is needed. I do set the autopilot, and nav radios to what I want on the ground before takeoff, but even with it all that set it would be much easier, and more realistic if there was some sort of voice activated autopilot, where I can just say "gear up" and it will raise the gear.. and say "flaps up" and it raises the flaps a notch, and "autopilot on" to turn on autopilot, etc.
  10. which stick do you use now?
  11. ok cool.. what about rudder controls? is it a twist grip? that is somthing I am very curious now that I have seen it.
  12. Ok after reading every post in this topic, I think I have figured it out, but even with the Enhance application selected, I get the same FPS as with it forced.Instructions seemed simple enough, and I dont think I got anything wrong, but it doesnt seem to have an effect.any ideas?
  13. Ive just tried this, but when I switch it to "enhance application setting" i seem to get about the same fps.. am I suppost to lower the AA in Nhancer or somthing? if that is true, isnt it a trade off? I hope im just misunderstanding somthingbut then when I turn off the AA in game, it completly shuts off ALL AA, including the Nhancer settings.. Is that suppost to happen? Now thinking about it, If it is, its kinda nice, becuse then I can switch it completly off in bad weather, then turn it back on when I fly outta the clouds, without having to exit the game.
  14. haha I never knew anyone with as much online personality as you have but thankyou for pointing those out..I was wondering about the saitek X45, and the x52 just because I could get them for cheap -- if im lucky.. (maybe $40)and from what they look like, they look great!Although the other ones there seem pretty cool.. like the thrustmaster..I really like the idea of having a big throttle handle that fits in your hand, and not a lil finger operated one..but it seems as though the X45 and x52 are the best because ya can move the throttle whereever you want it relitive to the stick.. whether your in a fighter, or a jumbo..But ill see how ebay turns outThanks guys!
  15. ok well thankyou I will look into that..BTW I just have to ask... are you the fozzer from SimV? you seem rather like him.. :D:D
