Hi guys, I have few questiones, hoping to be answered. Which are: 1- How to set a certain VS for climb or descent ?!2- I'm flying FL160, the ATC asks me to d/m FL140, how can i descent to FL140 ?!3- how to set RWY Course in preporation for APP ?! Regards,

Use the Autopilot panel. To set V/S, press the V/S button the A/P panel and use the wheel on the center console to control it. To descend, select ALT SEL and V/S or IAS and use the ALT knob to control the altitude. To set the course, use the knob on the A/P panel and the HSI to control the RWY course. Also set the frequency of the RWY on the radio panel.

Let's say you're on a flight cruising at 14,000 feet and you need to descend to 8,000. You would press the ALT SEL and V/S buttons on the flight director on the coaming panel. Then select whatever V/S you need to descend at by using the thumbwheel on the A/P control panel behind the throttles on the center console. To get the correct or most-efficient V/S you can use the FMS if it set correctly or by doing some math that I can't remember at the moment. I do hope that helps.
