September 1, 201114 yr OK fellas, I need some really helpful advice here. I've been umming and arring for about a month now, I just cannot make a decision. I currently fly with a Saitek x52Pro and have never been that impressed with it. It always feels like a wet fish, with the controller wobbling around in my hand! It has given me a lot of grief and I can no longer save profiles or anything it's supposed to do. So, after much reading and having chats around here I decided to go for the Warthog. However, as I find myself flying more and more with the PMDG I am now considering the CH yoke. But, here's my dilemma. I have just got hold of Ezdok and TrackIR5. I feel to use this kit and get any real benefit it's important to be able to switch views instantly with buttons on the controller. At the moment in the PMDG, you really need quite a lot of views, more than what is available on the controller, especially when I also have things like FS2Crew allocated to a couple of keys too and trim tabs. From what I can see, the warthog appears to have more than enough rockers to fulfill the different functions, while from what I can see, the yoke may struggle. Has anyone got any first hand experience of running Ezdok with either of these products and can you offer your input. Thanks a bunch guys... PS. I'd also be intersted in hearing anyone's thoughts about flying in general with the Warthog as opposed to a yoke. September 1, 201114 yr I Have the CH Yoke and CH Throttles so lots of switches and rockers. Use SPAD for your Saitek Gear! Use FSUIPC to conditional assignments to switch user-defined "modes" for your rockers and switches, where one switch controls the mode (e.g. EZDOK view control vs. EICAS Display vs. whatever else you might come-up with). See "SEQUENCES, COMBINATIONS, and MIXTURES", "COMPOUND BUTTON CONDITIONS" and "ADDING OFFSET CONDITIONS" in the FSUIPC for Advanced Users document , pages 17-21 available here. Cheers, - jahman.
