November 6, 200223 yr I don't know why Ryanair are being bashed so much... At the moment they are generating more money than any European airline!John/Meridianhttp://www.iol.ie/~shamrockstudios/Signatu...7/MASigLeft.jpg
November 7, 200223 yr Can you believe that a friend of mine got a ryanair flight From London to Dublin for
November 7, 200223 yr well, they often say you pay for security...I'm not saying they're very unsafe though, but I have read some thingq on PPRUNE...
November 7, 200223 yr Not sure I get what you mean, Seba. Sorry mate. Do you mean a low price compromises the odds on whether you'll make it to your destination in one piece?Cheers,Simon.
November 7, 200223 yr I'll give you an example:a Ryanair 737 that had departed Belfast, got a pretty serious failure (don't recall which one though) in-flight, just having entered French airspace. Instead of diverting to the nearest suitable enroute alternate, they chose to go back to Belfast as they have a maintenance unit over there. It would save them precious time and also a lot of money. They crossed back the channel all the way back to BelfastI don't wanna state ryanair is unsafe,I only believe that safety and money are two things that go hand in hand with each-other
November 7, 200223 yr Never heard anything about that... But if the failure wasn't too serious and allowed the travel back to Belfast then I don't see any problems with that?John/Meridianhttp://www.iol.ie/~shamrockstudios/Signatu...7/MASigLeft.jpg
