September 2, 201114 yr i've got a GTX 550 ti on order. right now i have a radeon 4670 installed. what is the correct order of steps to install. do i first install the drivers then pop out the radeon? or maybe pop out the radeon then install the gtx then drivers? Or........? any help would be appreciated.............BTW, thanks for your suggestions on which card to get Bill Packard Bell i11....64gb ram....1tb SSD....Nvidia 99000 4tb......400watt corsair......Windows ME 64.
September 2, 201114 yr Download latest drivers for your nVidia from Nvidia.com. Uninstall ATI drivers (never had a ATI so don't know how its done. I guess the best way would be device manager, right click the card and click uninstall drivers). shut down. Remove the card. Install new card.
