  1. is there any changes i should make to my config or nvidia inspector? right now i follow Nicks guidelines. it will be a quad core 2.8ghz....6 gb ram.... 550TI card. bought it used from a friend. Thanks.....Bill
  2. Another pic of NH at dusk. the lighting i assume comes from my UTX addon. some people say that MSE 2 has no night capability. But this seems quite acceptable to me. Raw pic....only resized.
  3. which others in your opinon also have great source imagery. i heard that NY and Nj are not the best.
  4. OOPS! i had it enabled.... i just accidently went over the border! here is (I hope) some pics of MSE 2 Swiss
  5. this is a lovely state to fly in. it has small cities....rolling hills....and decent mountains and lakes. MSE did a nice job on this state. these are raw pics. the only thing i did was reduce the size.
  6. and another one. BTW....New hampshire is also quite excellent. although this is another pic of MSE 2 Swiss
  7. Well i adjusted my graphics and now its clear even under my plane (MSE 2 Swiss). overall i am pleased with my purchase.
  8. look in your scenery library. if it says Idaho in there it is installed. if it says idaho 001 idaho 002 etc. itis not installed correctly.
  9. Im not getting that washed out blueish scenery above at all. My Swiss MSE 2 looks quite similar to the photoshop example shown above. Not identical....but close. YMMV
  10. i also have MSE 2 New Hampshire and between the two, i find the NH scenery to be significantly better. The Swiss looks great if you are looking out about 10-20 miles.....but undeneath the plane is quite blurry. Not so with the NH scenery. I was flying at about 11,000 ft on both planes. Am using the recommended slider positions. On the Swiss i went from Sion to the lake and thenall the way around the shore of the lake. On the NH i was in the northern hills and mountains. So..... i find the NH to be more immersive for me. Maybe the source data for NH is better? Will continue to explore the Swiss scenery some more tonight.
  11. like the title says. looking a plane preferably with steam gauges to fly using FS Altitude. that means fl 150 or greater i've been told. prop or jet is fine....but no heavies. thanks...............Bill
  12. looking for a GA that can do say 400+ KPH. Not interested in airliners. I have the Duke turbine and the Epic Victory which are great. Anything like them but faster?? thanks..................Bill
  13. i upgraded to the latest drivers and have problems with both my cursor and keybaord freezing up. now back to using 314.22. my card is a 560ti.
  14. i've decided to uninstall everything and start over. will install just orbx PNW
  15. i have Orbx global....Utx USA and Europe.....Orbx PNW....and Fscene4x___but just the asia australia section. Also i am getting water on my mountains and houses and trees in the water by shorelines. no GEX or REX. hope this helps. it doesn't matter which region i pick in FTX central either. My Orbx library is up to date
