October 6, 201312 yr this is a lovely state to fly in. it has small cities....rolling hills....and decent mountains and lakes. MSE did a nice job on this state. these are raw pics. the only thing i did was reduce the size. Packard Bell i11....64gb ram....1tb SSD....Nvidia 99000 4tb......400watt corsair......Windows ME 64.
October 6, 201312 yr Commercial Member It is definitely one of the better states for source imagery yes. Pretty much consistent throughout the whole state, which shows in the final product. DeanManager - PC Aviator AustraliaRetailing Sim DVD Software, Downloads, Hardware and Accessories
October 6, 201312 yr Author which others in your opinon also have great source imagery. i heard that NY and Nj are not the best. Packard Bell i11....64gb ram....1tb SSD....Nvidia 99000 4tb......400watt corsair......Windows ME 64.
October 6, 201312 yr Commercial Member Yes New York and New Jersey are very variable. Certainly not the best. Once we get better source imagery for those states, we will update the product. As for other really nice states with good imagery... there are many but off the top of my head.... - Vermont - New Mexico - Montana - Wisconsin - Missouri (most states that the Mississippi river runs through are good actually) - Texas (big one) That's a start anyway DeanManager - PC Aviator AustraliaRetailing Sim DVD Software, Downloads, Hardware and Accessories
October 9, 201312 yr Minnesota and Iowa are very good in most spots, Indiana and Ohio good most places.
October 9, 201312 yr Commercial Member Bar none, NH and VT are the two best photo-sceneries in my collection. Two of the better ones yes! Mississippi also nice, but largely flat land area. Source imagery is good and consistent. DeanManager - PC Aviator AustraliaRetailing Sim DVD Software, Downloads, Hardware and Accessories
October 9, 201312 yr Author Another pic of NH at dusk. the lighting i assume comes from my UTX addon. some people say that MSE 2 has no night capability. But this seems quite acceptable to me. Raw pic....only resized. Packard Bell i11....64gb ram....1tb SSD....Nvidia 99000 4tb......400watt corsair......Windows ME 64.
October 10, 201312 yr Commercial Member Yes, default or UTX lighting will appear over MSE textures. We are aware some sections of cities will have squares of no lights (as seen in your image). I am told this is a FSX bug, and it will be fixed when we release night lighting patches for the MSE range (it is being worked on in the background).
