September 3, 201114 yr hello, I was just wondering what wind conditions in FSX that it would take for the windshear tone and warning on the displays to go off, or if it is there only for the TERR test button on the FO side. Thanks
September 3, 201114 yr You would have to have conditions with rapid wind speed/direction change below 1500ft agl. I don't know if if they modeled predictive windshear. Performance losing windshear should give the tone and visual warning. Try setting a custom weather layer that gives you a rapid speed change from a headwind to a tailwind below 1500. September 3, 201114 yr I don't think predictive windshear is modeled, as that is tied to the Wx radar, as far as i know. But no reason not to get a warning when entering actual windshear. Cristi Neagu
