What a Bargain!

I managed to catch the PC Aviator sale - 50% off ALL Megascenery! Got the WHOLE state of California for $99 - That was just about £42 GBP - best deal I've had in while. ...and it's only 20Gb downloadAlien.gif (three days later...)

Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

They have those deals from time to time. It's really tempting, but knowing that OrbX will eventually do CA, I'm not sure. Photo scenery was cool in 1999 when there was no way for computers to display thousands of 3D objects at the same time, and in 2006 because of the lack of truly accurate landclass and vector scenery, but now I'm really feeling that the FSX scenery engine has so much more to offer. It does looking stunning under the right circumstances though.
