FS9 Application Data Location Not Found!

Featured Replies

I am doing a clean install of ASE. I keep getting a screen when I start the exe saying, "FS9 Application Data Location Not Found!" I point it to C:\Myname\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FS9 but it still tells me thats not the right location. I have also tried pointing it to C:\Myname\AppData\Roaming\HiFi\ASE and also C:\Myname\AppData\Roaming\HiFi I am running Windows 7 64bit. Thanks for any help.

Hi:I am encountering the same problem as "Chato" described above, with the message: "FSX Application DataLocation Not Found!" . It asks me to identify the path to the appropriate FSX folder.I have tried C:Users:User1AppDataRoamingMicrosoftFSX as well as C:Users:User1AppDataLocalMicrosoftFSX and in both cases it responds that it is not the correct path. Interestingly, in both cases regardless of my answer, ASE starts and gives the correct weather informarion for a station that I manually select. ASE does not seem to interact with FSX (although it will start FSX if I ask) and showing me the weather at the aircraft location.I am at a loss as to the path of the FSX Application Data I am being asked to identify.I run Windows 7 64-bit and both ASE and FSX reside in the same computer.Thank you.Roberto
