Hi, 1. Unregistered FSUIPC with default settings and weather settings off. 2. I am constantly changing a few of those settings so those were just my settings that particular day that someone asked me for my settings. I didn't go through each one analyzing it to see if it is the one I must often use! 2C. Because with my mid-level ATI video card and my fine computer setup I don't have any cloud re-draws that I need to prevent. I get smooth cloud transitions!

Thanks for your reply Jim.How can a video card affect cloud redraws?Aren't cloud redraws when clouds disappear and then reappear during updates?

Hi, Certain cards seem to work better than others with the FSX graphics engine. I don't get any strange cloud actions when AS updates.
