Hello when in window mode after you have clicked whatever make sure you drop the mouse curser down onto the bottom toolbar,it makes a big difference on mine?james.

This would be the famous mouse bug that microsoft has left for us to live with. This is well known with no fix as far as I know. I always "park" my mouse offscreen when I'm done diddlin with stuff. Thomas Jones
