From here. Ditches DDR5 in favour of 2x the performance and 30% less power via 8 GHz XDR2 Video RAM. With 2x the ROPs of the HD6970, the HD7970 64 ROPs should have no problems with FSX clouds (I'm guess-hoping!) Cheers, - jahman.

Probably late 1Q2012 for the HD7970 with less powerful models by late 4Q2011 (depending on how fast TSMC can tune the kinks out of the 28 nm fab). Cheers, - jahman.
