Hey, i was flying the NGX and I saw an option in FMS aircraft settings that says that I can choose between Autoland Fail Op(operational?) or Fail Pass(Passive?), what I want to know is what this two things mean and what the difference if I select one or the other? Thanks,Luiz Cunha

Fail Operational will let you autoland the plane with Rollout and Flare.Fail Passive will let you autoland the plane with Flare only so you will have to steer the plane manually after touchdown. You must use the Collins MCP for Fail Operational !! ( see FCOM Vol 2 page 217 & 228 & 231)
