Yesterday it started. I opened up fs9. The main window appeared, chose a/c and location and hit FLY.The program did not load. The progress bar reaches 1% and then an error window appears. Below is the error report. Tried several times but same thing. Ran a registry cleaner, rebooted, but no solution.What's going on? I just want to add this.1. In between the last time fs9 worked fine and the start of the problem, nothing was installed into it or uninstalled. 2. I've tried again and one out of four times fs9 will load, the rest it will hang when loading.Eytan

"Files that help describe the problem" may be just that. The names of the files are arbitrary, but what do they have in them? You should be able to find the files and double-click on them to open them up. The .txt file is almost certainly flat text, so you could open it, copy the content and paste it here for us to look at.

i looked for that text file. I only got as far as the Temp, but the txt file is not there!?In fact the other two arent there also.Eytan

Problem solved.I don't know how it's related but I noticed that my nvidia control panel disappeared. Something to do with windows 7 quirks.After fixing that, miraclously fs started loading normally.Eytan

Thanks for the follow-up. Another reason I stayed with XP.
