Recommended Posts

When I load my 373ng (FX9 version) cold and dark, The fuel cut off lever are always up. Is there a config file line entry to set the levers down at startup? ThanksJason Chandler

Not all gauges and controls in the 737NG initialize to the FS default flight. Create a parked flight with a default turboprop parked somewhere, engines off, fuel cut-offs engaged, battery and avionics as you wish, clear weather theme and date-time of your preference and save this as your default FS flight. When you create a flight with a default turbo prop the fuel-cutoff levers should be engaged (fuel off). Then try loading the 737NG and look at the throttle pedestal to see if it follows. In FS the default flight sets up the initial FS environment for the weather and aircraft before you create a flight or load a saved one. You'll see this in your FSUIPC.log file. Here's an extract first showing the default flight followed by loading a saved flight. The default flight section even shows if I shut down FS at the menus.
