September 25, 201114 yr I have a couple of easy questions 1) on the J41 checklist - what does the little airplane icon mean next to some of the checklist items? First flight of the day? First flight of the day? I didn't see anywhere specifically where that was indicated. I believe so. The A.O.M.Chp 4 Pg 5 Item 9 says "Items idented with a + are accomplished on the aircraft's first flight of the day only" So by that "+" I'm assuming it's the a/c symbol. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. 2) Is there a zoom / scale knob for the EHSI ? Yup. It's on the weather radar screen. The up and down arrows. Have fun! Richie Lumsden

I wondered if that was the case since I didn't see an "+" but I though - surely not.I mean, wouldn't you check the ice protection system before every flight? I guess not, eh? EHSI - I'll be. Kind of a peculiar place to put that... interesting. I wonder if it's really like that in the r/w. Thanks again Benjamin Van Eps
