REX problem

Featured Replies

Hi,I've had REX for probably a year now, without much problem. Anyway, I had to reinstall Mcafee a couple of days ago, which I know is sensitive around FS addons.Whenever the REX Weather Tool wants to download weather, it will say "make sure rex weather engine has full inbound/outbound access through your firewall". Here's the thing, I've turned off my firewall, given REX full rights to make connections, and it will still say "make sure rex weather engine has full inbound/outbound access through your firewall". I love the weather engine and I use it often. Has anyone had this problem? help is always appriciated. Thanks,

I found a solution over at REX Forums but you have to be registered and logged on to view some of the information - http://realenvironmentxtreme.com/forum/index.php?topic=12005.0 . You should never disable or turn off the firewall. I've known several individuals who have received viruses within 16-20 seconds after going on the Internet without the firewall turned on. Best regards,Jim
