October 2, 201114 yr Was wondering if anyone knows where I can get some SID/STARs for PADU, Dutch Harbour, Alaska. Ended up on a HUD visual, which works great, but I'm sure I've seen at least a VOR or GPS in there. Not that it gets you much lower, but it would be welcomed. The plane works great after the fresh install + HF4 Thanks
October 2, 201114 yr Did you tried the US Division of IVAO? Seems that on their chartfinder page PADU exists with some downloads of PADU chartsCheers Andreas Andreas Riecken Aspire AX3300, Vista 64 bit, 925 quad core 2,8 Ghz, 8GB RAM DDR3, 1TB HDD, ATI Radeon HD4650 graphic with 1024 RAM FSX acc, Microsoft Force feedback joystick, unregistered fsuipc, some scenerie addons, TRACKIR 5, EZDOK,
October 2, 201114 yr There's an GPS and NDB approach...no VOR sorry. But there is a DME, not sure if it's in FS though. For all my American chart needs I use the FS Kneeboard app, Fltplan.com also has access with a registration to both current Canadian and American charts.Tryin to squeeze the 37 into Unalaska? Whoa! October 3, 201114 yr Author Tryin to squeeze the 37 into Unalaska? Whoa! Alaska used to operate a 737 into there up until recently. It is very tight, especially for takeoff, but it is doable. I used auto brakes max and full reverse, 85%load and 5 metric tons of fuel and got in without issues. Getting off the ground is a little trickier. just barely made it off with the same numbers at max thrust and flaps 25, so probably too tight for the 800. I suspect the 700 will have more margin. I am actually looking for the SID/STARs in text format that the PMDG FMC uses so that it is selectable. I rarely open actual approach plates when flying the SIM, that is too much like work.
