January 19, 200422 yr Has anyone noticed that the 737-300 has too much power? On take off using auto throttle that after take off I'm up to 250 before I can engage the autopilot and retract the flaps. Is there away to lower the power or does anyone have an .air file that fixes this?John John K
January 20, 200422 yr Yeah .... it is too powerful!Open the Aircraft.cfg file within the aircraft's folder, and find the following lines:{jet_engine}thrust_scalar=1.000The real brackets are actually square (the forums don't allow you to display square brackets!).Anyway, reduce the 1.000 to say 0.7 and try again! :) Keep adjusting it until it feels right! ;-) (0.7 = 70% of the thrust value)PS: After every change, close the cfg file, and reload the aircraft! January 20, 200422 yr Hi,Look for an original 737-300 panel by the author Fabrizio Berretta. In it he contains a very nice FDE specific to the FFX 733 series. (This is for FS9 however!)Best RegardsBoone,[email protected]"Flying a plane is no different from riding a bicycle. It's just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes."
