November 14, 200223 yr Hi all,Well got some NACO charts for the US, looseleaf. I need a binder to put them into though, and shipping the binder from Sporty's to Canada is far to expensive. Any way to make your own or is there a company that sells some at less cost. Thanks
November 14, 200223 yr Hi there, here in Vancouver, Aviation World sells US charts, including binders. You may also be able to get them from this website:http://www.mapconnection.com/aeronautical.htmlCheers,Gosta.
November 14, 200223 yr Couldn't find them at the Map Connection site, very poor site design IMHO. Aviationworld does have binders on their website, but they seem to be small binders. Maybe I'll have to call them.
November 14, 200223 yr Yeah, it was the first site I found, probably not the best ;). I've seen binders of all sizes in the actual Aviation World shop - I'm sure they'll be able to get them to you somehow...Cheers,Gosta.
November 17, 200223 yr Stores like WalMart and such sell 'binder rings" that cost a couple of bucks. They are individual rings that open/close/lock that you can put through say 3 of the holes. It's a low cost alternative to the sporty one especially if you're only using it for simming.Tim13
