Radio Altimeter

Featured Replies

Hello, When selecting Radio from Baro on the EFIS, 9980 always is displayed as the selected value instead of 200. Any ideas why? Or should I be doing something different. Thanks Steve

Hi, as far as I know this is already known bug and should be fixed in SP 1 ?Cheers

This bug was marked as "fixed" a week after initial release. I have noticed when I start the trip from cold and dark, the radio altimeter can be started at 50. If I start the airplane on an active runway the radio altimeter starts in the 9000 + range. Maybe they will fix it in SP1, but don't hold your breath. I think that PMDG thinks it is already fixed.

Hello, Ok, thanks for the reply's. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. Will check the cold and dark vs normal startup routine. Steve

Mine reads 50.. I think even with hotfix 3 it started at 50.. Now the earlierversions I had, it did start at 9999 or whatever.. So they did fix that.If you are still showing the high number when selecting radio, I wouldcheck to make sure you are "really" upgraded.. It's possible you mightstill be using an older ini file, etc..Since it was fixed to start at 50, I've never had a case where it changedto a higher number by changing runways, routes, etc..So if 50 is where it's supposed to start, it is indeed fixed on the simI'm running.. :|
