October 11, 201114 yr Does anyone know if theres any way (apart from downloading a hookie copy) of turning off the 10 minute time out on X Plane? I've purchased a copy & am waiting for the full version to arrive. In the meantime I'd like to play around a little more with my new Carenado aircraft purchases in the Alps (modelled in the demo version) & get to grips with the general setup (Formerly Vatsimming FSX user). It says that it can take upto 4-6 weeks for the disks to arrive to the UK, & I want to get stuck in at least partially now! Thanks T
October 11, 201114 yr well... the officially supplied and endorsed method (by Laminar) is to have the USB key that can let X-Plane run normally without the DVD. you might be able to get one of those directly from Laminar, or x-plane.org, or maybe ebay (since it's a physical item) more quickly, or sent directly to get sooner than the slow boat the software-dvd's are on. I could say, other than that, contact Randy Witt at Laminar. Randy Witt[email protected]X-Plane, Customer Support913-269-0976 - | http://air.c74.net | http://fx.c74.net |
