I tried to make a video for a PMDG MD-11 flight.Is there a program to do so and avobeall to see the instrument panel with. ( PFD,ND etc ) So far I only achieved making a video without seeing the panels. Rolando Carmini

Welcome to the forums. Have you tried FRAPS? It gives you the possibility to record videos, screenshots and monitor FPS within FS. After you film a video or create a screenshot, you can watch them on your computer (without FS running). It is available free, but that is the trial version and it only allows you to record 30 seconds of footage at a time, and only allows you to create screenshots in the JPG format. If you register FRAPS, you will be able to record any lengths of video and be able to create BMP, JPG, PNG and TGA screenshots. You can then put these files on a DVD and watch them on Television or your computer. I highly recommend FRAPS. In order to record the instrument panel, you can go to the VC and adjust your view, or if you are using the 2D cockpit you simply have to start recording.
