Hi all, I've been having this strange problem for the last few flights on P3d V4.4- every minute, at the same second, the sim will freeze for 8 seconds. Happens with different aircraft, ORBX scenery and Active Sky enabled. Any ideas please? Thanks!

-SOLVED- Found a fix, just had to delete the 'Lastdownloaded.wx' file in the ASP4 directory.

Hi all! I've just started having this problem with Active Sky for P3d V4 - when I try to open it, I see the splash screen but the UI never shows up. I can see it in task manager for a few seconds, then it disappears. Can't get it to start. Any ideas please? I've tried reinstalling AS and running it as an administrator without luck. Thanks!

My mistake, I didn't realise he was talking about the SR22's speed...

As much as I'd love an A380 or a 787, Kyle said "They're fast". I'm guessing fighters or a Concorde. The former, although unlikely from PMDG, seems the most likely by Kyle's hint.

Hi all, P3d V4 has been giving me several CTDs, most of which have involved the sim freezing for 5-10 seconds, followed by the sim "disappearing" entirely. All of a sudden, P3d completely vanishes with no error messages or warnings at all. Nothing is shown in Event Viewer. Has anyone run into this issue?

Cancel that, found it! Looks like there was a problem with OFX Australia and New Caledonia evolution. Thank you for your help!

Thank you Jim. Unfortunately, removing the scenery.cfg and fsx.cfg files didn't work. I have disabled the traffic add-on I had running to no avail. I've also removed the DLL.XML and EXE.XML as recommended in the CTD guide. Currently, I'm running the default 737 over default scenery. The only change I have made to settings at all is the application of the HIGHMEMFIX=1 tweak. Definitely a headache this one! Is there anything else that could be done short of a complete FSX reinstall?

Thanks Luke! Unfortunately that's where I'm stuck... I've uninstalled every single add-on scenery I had, but the problem still occurs at about 3000ft while climbing. I should add as well that I tried out a flight from Sydney to Brisbane (overflying the Gold Coast, where the CTD occurs), and it happened again while overflying. There's something wrong with that specific area.

Hi all, I've been experiencing this issue lately that started out of the blue. Every time I depart from YBCG (Gold Coast), a sudden CTD happens about two minutes into the flight. Yes, they'll both work. They're two separate products, much like you can have the 777 installed at the same time as the NGX.

Hi all, I've just installed the latest version of LINDA, and I was wondering, is there a specific way to copy over aircraft modules from the previous version? I've copied the folders from the /aircraft directories in the /linda and /linda-cfg folders, but when I open LINDA, none of my switch assignments are there. Thanks!

Poor wording on my part. What I meant was that I did expect the product and support to go away, but I didn't expect the 'self-serve' section to go away. Just wondering, was it announced that the liveries and other downloads would be taken down? I might have missed an announcement.

I agree with Geoff- I understand the cut off of support for two very old products, but I didn't anticipate it all to go away all of a sudden. I second the idea of another week or month for those of us still using those products to download and back up these liveries please.

There are no specific values in the 744- same deal with the 777. All you look for is an increase in oil pressure and N2.

Personally, I don't see why PMDG would re-do the NGX. It's well over five years old, but I still consider it the absolute benchmark for flight simming products (sharing that distinction with the 777 and 744). Absolutely flawless product. It would be nice to see something like a 767 or 742- something the community is missing when it comes graphics and systems.

I suppose so, they're all world class simulations of the 744.

Hi all, I've just applied the latest Operations Centre update, and upon trying to download 777 liveries, I receive the following message: 'TLS 1.2 is disabled in your Windows installation. Please enable in Control Panel/Internet Options/Advanced tab for proper downloading of OC content.' I have checked at the specified path, and TLS 1.2 is enabled. Any ideas please?
