G/S won't annunciate after a go around

Featured Replies

Hi all. I've flown a couple of go arounds recently, with the intention of making the same approach again. Approaching the localiser and having pressing the APP button again, G/S fails to arm for the pitch mode, having worked fine for the original approach. Any ideas?

Yes. Reported this ages ago. What you currently need to do is to reselect the approach on the DEP/ARR page in order for G/S to become available for arming again e. g. after having conducted a G/A. Obviously hitting TOGA triggers this erroneous behavior, although I'm not 100% positive on that. This is a bug as G/S should arm no matter if any approach is selected, it however needs valid ILS data, to put it in simple terms. sig.gif

I'll recheck after SP1, as I dearly hope for a fix here... sig.gif
Did you sent a ticket about this? The PMDG team is not able to search every topic for bugs. Kind regards

Daniel Verhaal

No, I only sent one ticket about a very specific FSX lockup a few days ago. As for other bugs, I sent a looong list to Ryan weeks ago, and I negotiated this method with him as he said it was easier for him to track that way. Although I have no real clue if or what of it actually made it to the devs. SP1 will show I guess. And if then items remain, I definitely consider shooting away a number of tickets. Other than that I'd have to check that very list about this specific issue, but I certainly remember having mentioned it SOMEwhere... LOL Big%20Grin.gifsig.gif
