Hi, I currently have my oveclockers check out showing £650 for the following items. I try to build the same system on the configurator, but i don't need a DVD drive, and the case i want is less so the configurator ends up showing £100 more for the build than if i buy individually! I tried calling to get a quote based on exactly what i had in my basket, and he said email him direct which i did but he has not got back. Am i asking a bit much to obtain the following items for under £650? I think it's a fair question, but ultimately it's up for them to decide. If they can't sell the default case and optical drive, then it doesn't really do them much good to subtract the value of the items. They might be able to subtract the cost, but not the full retail price. Plus there's the added work of transferring the system over to a different case - assuming they're starting out with an already built system in the first place.
