Come down over Jackson Lake on to RW 19. I had a harsh C/wind so viewing the scenery was limited. I can imagine departing at dusk with the sun hitting the mountains would be spectacular. Adam.

6 is my favourite because to see 1 777 at Liverpool John Lennon is a dream but 2!

Approaching from the North, once past the lake the view off to the right is just so beautiful, especially with the sun setting behind the mountains.

Hi All, Not used FSX for a long time, but a demo flight in a Bonanza last friday in Cheshire has encouraged me to get in to it again. Just cleaned up my HDD, defrag etc and loaded Active Sky X, SHADE and FSX, just like i used to. No noticeable performance issues but there is a green square about 15mm x 15mm in the upper left of the screen. Any ideas? Cheers.

Besides the double landings, that is some smooth flight at some high settings. What kind of system do you run?

Hi, Recently installed megascenery for Oahu and upon landing at PHNL i noticed no actual terminal buildings or Jetways. There is a few hangars and a control tower but no actual default terminal. I also notice a problem when taking off/landing, where the runway poly flickers through the photoreal runway texture. Is it a case of just buying FSDT PHNL?

Why would they do KJAC, when it is outside of PNW, NRM and CRM?

isn't the 'crashing when going in to menus's' something to do with the G3.Dll error?

I always find that locking my FPS to 30 when cruising gives the best results, but unlocking it when departing/approaching big areas can see good results. For example i was landing at KSEA with high settings, approaching with the city in the background and got about 20FPS when locked @ 30. Unlocked it and my FPS went up to 26/27. Although i then exited the sim, started up the following day from KSEA with it unlocked and only got 22 haha.

Like you i have tried cars, cruise ships in FSX and thought nahh. But this was before ORBX. I agree, interacting with the scenery which we believe is so beautiful would be superb. FSX at the end of the day is for flight, therefore walking round, getting in to cars, boats etc is not what we need (buy GTA for that). However i do believe seeing others doing these tasks as you fly slowly above would be superb. I don't own any products with 'snow flow', 'people flow 2' but i flew in to Alice Springs last night and was honestly overwhelmed. A long flight from boring Honolulu was greatly welcomed by watching airport men moving suit cases from a trailer to the tarmac, the sound of birds and just the sheer detail of the scenery. How hard could it be to have a few guys on a fishing boat, or sun bathing on a beach or by a camp fire at night>

I admit, they aircraft are the WOAI ones (i have all the WOAI packages installed) and i have recently renewed my FSX.CFG file so that may be selected.Can that cause those problems?

Thats the issue, there was 1 A340 and 1 Dash-8. CYVR surely has more than 1 'Large' gate which could have accomodated the 330's. Isn't the AFCAD updated by ORBX's PNW anyhow?
