April 8, 201214 yr MSL : Mean Sea Level...in your picture you are 7ft about sea level. Mag means your heading is magnectic, rather than true. ( magnectic north, and true north) Regards Luke M
April 8, 201214 yr From your fsx.cfg, VB: Under [TextInfo] - there's 3 included for regular flying info, plus 3 more fore when your slewing. Each time you pres 'Shft-Z' - the next [TextInfo] group will be selected. You can edit these, removing or adding lines as per your need. The parameter names are listed in the fsx SDK. Mine, for example:- [TextInfo.1] LockedFrameRate=1,1 FrameRate=1,2 AverageFrameRate=1,3 That's generally all I want to see. If I want more I'll hit it again, and a different set will show up. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
April 8, 201214 yr Others have filled in most of the details, just one left, and that's: Wind 2 Mag @ 10 knots, which means the wind is blowing from the magnetic compass heading of 002 degrees, at an average speed of 10 knots. Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
April 8, 201214 yr I love it when someone asks a valid question and gets the response "Things you should know if you're flying an airplane!". I wanted to know these things as well when I started out.
