Ivap problem solved?

Featured Replies

Hi there, When will the ivap crash problem with the NGX solved? Because it is a very annoying problem. IVAO don't have to solve this problem. This problem is by the NGX. And thanks for this great airplane.

Hi, This subject has been discussed in another thread here. The conclusion is simple, PMDG was CLEAR about this:

"" To be brutally clear: This is not a bug. the IVAP client is using FSUIPC, and we do not intend to push data through any source other than simconnect.Until/unless the IVAP application can be operated through simconnect without using FSUIPC, no- we won't be fixing that. "" RS Randazzo 25th Sept 2011
When you say that IVAO don't have to solve the problem, I would not be 100% sure, IVAP is now an old lady, and it's more than needed to see the new version. Don't blame Porsche if the car don't work properly whith coal.

Hi,you quoted the false part! This Statement from RSR was about the transponder sync with IvAp. Also when RSR said, they will not fixing that, it seems, that they have fixed this problem.

Right: is it ok to you if I say like this: the IVAP crash with the 737NGX is NOT due to the 737NGX and is NOT a bug. This is more the way IVAP is build, using FSUIPC instead of SimConnect. Now to both of you: - Until further clear idea of what IVAP crash comes from, no one can tell it's PMDG responsability. I'm not protecting PMDG, just trying to be objective. - No one will be sure that it's fixed until SP1 is released.

You didn't understand me again. RSR's statement (which you have quoted) was NOT about the IvAp crashes!!! His statement was regarding to the problem, that the IvAp Transponder-sync was not working. However, this has been fixed within the last hotfix.

I confirm, I understood that my quote was not the right one. However the rest of my sentance remains up to date regarding the IVAP crash issue: wait for the changelog of the SP1 to know if they found a solution. Or not.

I agree with you, and especially with this sentence:
