Do not turn off your firewall! Like others who have had this problem, the antivirus program or something is trying to notify you of an update or something and it minimizes the screen to let you know. I don't own an antivirus program but you might want to look in the Options setting and see if your antivirus program is set up to notify you of updates, etc. It could be another software program on your system that is set up to notify you too. My solution is to open up the System Configuration (click on the Start button, type System Configuration in the search bar and look up at the top and you should see System Configuration). Once open, click on the Start Tab and disable everything (these items are really not required for your computer to operate). Restart Windows and see if the problem still exists. If it fixes the problem you can go back into the System Configuration and reenable each item one at a time until the culprit is found but it really isn't necessary. The startup programs, for the most part, are not required and were installed as a convenience by the various software designers. Best regards,Jim
