Triple Monitor Setup

Featured Replies

Hi there... I have a triple monitor setup with resolution at 3840X1024 triple head to go.When I stretch FSX the other 2 outside monitors, I start having serious display issues with the PMDG 737NGX aircraft. The model is either invisible or I just see the seats. In the VC, only some instruments are showing.I was wondering if there are any other users that have this same setup. If so, are you having the same issues?Could you share any tweaks and/or settings?FSX is SLI compatible, although SLI doesn’t benefit FSX much except at extreme resolutions with high AA.I was wondering if the PMDG 737NGX would benefit from that setup, when I put that together. I run a triple head to go but at 5040x1050 and it works well with all my aircraft including the NGX. In the Matrox Power Desk software, choose 1680x1050 (3x1). You might have to update the firware. Easy to do. Make sure you have native monitor resolutions set in the Nvidia control panel. I am not sure what you mean by "streach". I run in full screen mode so I do not have to size windows if that is it. I have stayed away from SLI so I can't cooment on that subject. I hope that helps. PM me if you would like to discuss more.

Agree with Brad, update firmware etc. you shouldn't have to 'stretch the view'. The main reason many cannot achieve 5040 res. after updating firmware / drivers, is this; You must go into Device manager and expand your monitor tab.It must read Matrox Tripleheadtogo Digital edition (or whichever version you have ) make sure it does not read Generic Plug and Play monitor. If it does read P/P, you have to change it. Do a manual 'update driver' for the monitor and select 'have disk',Browse to the following path: C:\Program Files\Matrox Graphics Inc\PowerDesk SE\ and select GXM.infMatrox claim to have fixed this issue with the latest drivers, but best to check. In VC mode, if everything appears too close, ie. instruments, you must set "wide view aspect=True" in the FSX.CFG file. Ron.
