January 24, 200422 yr I posted this on the panel forum the other day and got no response, so I was wondering if anyone here can see what I am doing wrong. I did manage to do it once before on another aircraft, but now when I try, I only end up with a partially gray panel and the yoke is still there in silvery gray. I am using DXTBMP, and here are the steps that I have followed.DXTBMP-Load extended image(also tried as normal image),Prefs-select editor-MSPaint,Image-Send to editor-MSPaint,MSPaint-Painted over the yoke with black(also tried with pure green),Saved the file and exited MSPaint,DXTBMP-loaded the extended/normal image(tried both),Alpha-Create black/green alpha channel(tried both),Saved extended bitmap-The file name was saved as the original fs9 file name. FS9-Copied extended bitmap file to the texture file of the aircraft. I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
January 25, 200422 yr Check out this topic at Simflight and refer to reply #5 for detailed instructions and some illustrations on yoke removal in the VC:http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?t=13514&highlight=This was for the MS B737-400, but the procedure should work on other aircraft also. If you still can't make it work then send me a private message and I'll work with you on it.
