what does 'save panel position' supposed to do?

what does 'save panel position' supposed to do?It sounds like this would actually save the 2d panels position (and size?) of the aircraft('and restore automatically', or something, what is that supposed to do? / i'm not at my box)but it doesnt?(or not when i tried the keys)what am i missing?(hope this doesnt refer to the linda interface Worried.gif )

The 2d panel needs to be undocked, sized and positioned, then you need to press the key combination to save the panel position. Next time you load that aircraft and undock those same 2d panels LINDA will then automatically move and size the windows accordingly. As far as I understand it docked windows will not work with LINDA so of course you must also run in windowed mode.

this was the problem then(back to editing the panel.cfg, ah well)thx
