No CD Crack might be hurrting your preformance

Not sure if this has ever been posted but I am currently installing FS on my new system. During a clean install I was getting 18-24 FPS sitting in KSEA everything maxed. On my old system I was getting 6-7 FPS under the same settings. I started to move my files over from my old system to my new and just replaced the modules folder holding my FSUIPC file. I then went back into it to see if it worked so I could then start reinstall things like UT, and others needing this file. I got the ole insert cd prompt and said to myself I'll fix that and cut and pasted the no cd crack into the file deleting the old. I then opened up FS and was getting the same 6-7 fps where I was just getting 18-24. THe only things I changed were the FS exe file (no cd crack) and the modules folder. Currently I am doing another fresh instal and see if that was it.

Ok run the modules folder details by me once more, maybe you are on to something here. Personally I doubt it, but exactly what did you do with the modules folder? And also what was in your old one that was not default??Hornit

My Bad. It was the Force enabled that was causing the frame hit. I figured it out after installing it 3 times and decided to add throttle to fly and got the slide show that made me figure it out. Anyway of deleting this post?
