I Keep Getting Activation Messages with the 600/700

Recommended Posts

EDIT: Maybe I should have checked me e-mail first? Disregard (smacks head against yoke) :smile:Hi,After doing a fresh install of the PMDG 737, I keep getting activation messages each time I select the -600 or -700. I get the message when I first load it and when I exit the flight (then everything freezes up). I do not have this problem with the -800 or -900.I also uninstalled the 747 too but I deleted all the PMDG files after uninstalled the 737 so I don't think that has anything to do with it. I then restarted, did a quick FSX run to keep it clean then installed the 737 basepack (installer I got when I bought the product last month). Immediately after that, I installed the SP1 installer. Ok, did a quick circuit in FSX with the -900 with no problems. Then I  installed the 6/700 pack and started FSX. When I selected the -700 I got the activation code message and entered my orignal basepack code (this is correct right?). I did another circuit in FSX and all seemed fine (other then the wideangle=false/true thing making my FSX look like a fish-eye lens). When I closed the flight (not FSX), everything froze up but I just assumed it was one of this things so I forced FSX to close and installed all my newly-downloaded -600, -700, -800 and -900 liveries.Fired up FSX again and selected an Alaska -700. Again I got the activation code! So I entered the NGX basepack code again and did another circuit with no problems. I knew something was wrong when I exited from the flight and I got ANOTHER activation code! I forced FSX shut because it froze and here I am.I remember seeing a thread about this when the NGX first came out but I cannot remember the fix. Please help,EthanNote: I installed the SP1 over everything at first and did a quick flight but then decided to do a fresh install.

You should have a separate activation code for the 600/700 check on your order page for the code and enter that, not your original base package code all should work fine then. Good luck enjoy.
