November 6, 201114 yr Author yes, when i manually brake, the autobrakes desengage but the knob stay in position. if i turn it after desengaging the autobrakes, full pressure is applied to the brakes (not cool for the passengers) .then i have to manually brake again to stop it and recover a normal braking! December 8, 201114 yr I found this in a forum search. Same thing here, autobrake engages when switched off, doesn't matter if it's from pos 1 or RTO. I guess if it's only Benard and me there must be something wrong with our SP1 install, or is anyone else having it happen too?
December 10, 201114 yr Try this:- After touch down use reversers to 80kts then retract. Manual brake from then until taxi speed. Switch off auto brake & you will find that brakes will not set. control taxi as normal. Mike Summers

December 10, 201114 yr Just in case it helps someone, the problem was in how I had my rudder pedals mapped in FSUIPC. My pedals need reversing the axis or they will apply full break while released.Ok, so I had them assigned as "Send to FS as normal axis"Changing that to "Send direct to FSUIPC calibration" fixed it
