This is not to putdown work, but I think with all great payware, (FSD/PMDG/PSS ect) you cant justify paying for stuff that looks just beyond someones first attempt, I wont say freeware becuase IMHO Freeware is fast becoming High Quality.Jason

Hi,Yeah, I read your thread John, interesting.I have noticed that Abacus put out freeware that has been "upgraded"?, in some way, but these new ones look exactly like there freeware counterparts.I certainly hope the freeware versions dont get pulled, but I am now asking my self the question of why abacus are offering these addons.I know the background behind F.Sancez's ATR going payware, but I am interested in knowing weather Abacus go "hunting" for these products, and if so are they draining the lifeblood out of the freeware area?.I can't see why I would pay money for something I can get for free, it just seems a bit odd to me.Maybe they are praying on the less "in the know" side of the FS market?.CheersDan.
