Crosswind

Featured Replies

is an example of a crosswind landing in Chicago at 30kts, it also includes the previous events of the flight. The question I have hers is,"what is the most severe crosswind landing that you have attempted?"

I remember few months ago default Extra in 35kts Xwind (no H/T component). The most difficult was taxing the A/C to the Active. The plane was taxing with close to idle power, I just have to gently tap on the brakes and moving the stick around. Landing was rather easy (wide runway, slow approach speed) but stopping the A/C not (I did not align perfectly with the runway).Nice landing BTW, glad to see it from different perspectives
