resetting simconnect after crash

Recommended Posts

I am using ASE over a network. It works great unless I have an FSX crash (program crash) . The only way I can get ASE to connect again is reboot the FSX machine. Is there any other way?ThanksBruce

Hi,Have you tried re-initializing the client after this happens by restarting ASE? That might work and be a quicker fix. But if Simconnect is simply not responding on the server after such an event, there is nothing ASE or any other simconnect add-on can do, we need simconnect to respond in order to connect.
