I first tried running the new install of FSX with fps slider set to unlimited. I noticed a lot of stutters with the view and it was not smooth. The fps were jumping all over the place from 70 down to the teens or so and back up again. I set the limiter in fsx to 30 and for the most part it is pretty steady and much smoother except near the larger airports as I said above.I can't really afford any new hardware right now, but if I could only afford either the 560 gpu or the i5-2500k cpu which would be the better choice and would yield the best performance? Thanks Torkermax.Graeme,I did a search for FPS Limiter and found many sites, but those that I tried seem to all have some catch before you can download it. Also, forum posts say it does not come with instructions and is difficult to install. Does the speed of ones system affect how well it works? Some said they got worse performance than before, others say it's great. Can you recommend a download site and how is it installed? Thanks, Tom
