Featured Replies

I have seen that the Boeing 707 and 727 have Pneumatic Brakes. What is the purpose of those brakes and when did pilots used them ? Thank You

Now where did you hear that the 707 or 727 had air brakes?

The pneumatic brakes are a back-up system in case the hydraulic brakes aren't working. In my experience, I recall only one case of them being used on a 727, and they performed very well.
