Wilco Airbus can't keep descent path... why?

Recommended Posts

I purchased the Airbus Evolution bundle (Vol1+Vol2), and I'm having the same problem: I'm having trouble trying to keep the descent path in managed mode. I start descent about 5 NM before TOD and everything goes OK until I reach (DECEL). From there, the aircraft can't keep anymore the vertical path since it struggles to reach green dot speed. Speedbrakes don't help that much, and I usually end up doing 1-2 360° turns while I lose altitude.I've seen here some people that report everything fine about the Wilco Airbus. Am I doing something wrong? Or there must be something I have to edit in the plane/MCDU? This is the only thing that does not leave me satisfied with these planes.Best regards from Colombia,Luis Miguel

My rig: ASUS TUF FX504GD (Intel i5 8300H @ 2.8-4.0 GHz, 8 GB DDR4-2666 RAM, Nvidia GTX 1050 2 GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD+256 GB 1 TB SATA III SSD as storage, Windows 10 Home)

Saitek X-52 as primary controller. Xbox 360 wired and eDimensional G-Pad Pro wired controllers as standby/travel.

Finally moved to P3D4.5. Also running FSX-SE, FS9 and XP11 Vulkan. Tried MSFS2020, but my rig isn't up to the task. What do I do with 4 sims now?

As almost always, I found the answer shortly after posting here. Anyway, I applied some tweaks to the A32x airfiles (sections 1101 and 1506) and now it works better. With this tweaks, I got the following:- Increased flap, spoiler and landing gear drag- Reduced thrust factor at low N1 settings during descent and approach.I took the tweaks from these pages:Air France VAFSMexOld Feelthere forum archiveBest regards from Colombia,Luis Miguel
