The updated FSMETAR ??

Featured Replies

I just tried using the updated fsmetar and I currently do not have the registered version of Peter Downson utility.I like the GUI interface and it did work w/o the registered version but not to its full potential. My ? is it worth the 23 euro for the reg version, or should I keep the MSFS real weather that I currently use in FS9.Thanks

Hello,I have a registered FSUIPC and just tried the new FSMETAR. I also flew it with the new Reality XP Weather radar. I did two flights from KPHL (there is some weather there). One to Atlantic City and one to Richmond VA. The first flight was in a DF Archer. The second was in a Flite 1 421.Both flights were really realistic for me. The weather simulation with the new FSMETAR seemed very smooth. The weather radar worked great with the weather program.I have AS2004 and would rather use this new FSMTAR for now. I did not see any real drastic things happen but I will say that the sim into Atlantic City was really "on the money" - I checked the weather there and it was a little dicey for me.Happy Sim Flying,Ron [email protected]
