Is my Graphics card causing bottlenecks?

Featured Replies

I have a DELL Studio XPS 8100.Specs.Intel Core i7-860 2.8GHz ( cannot be overclocked due to Dell Bios)6GB DDR3 Ram (1333MHz)Windows 7 64bit Home Premium640GB Western Digital Caviar 7200rpm 16MB Cache SATA HDDnVidia Geforce GTS 240 Graphics CardI run FSX with REX 2.0, Ultimate Terrain X Europe, Ultimate Traffic 2, PMDG 737NG and lots more scenery and aircraft addons including VFR scenery.I know FSX is CPU intensive but does anyone think my graphics card is a potential bottleneck? I find that my frame rates drop badly ( 10 fps) at some busy airports. If so would the Geforce GTX 550TI be a worthy upgrade?I don't play any other games, this potential upgrade is purely with FSX in mind.GTS 240 http://www.nvidia.co...gts_240_uk.htmlGTX 550 TI http://uk.geforce.co...force-gtx-550tiMany ThanksAnthony
