Config Manager Problems

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,I have just bought the J41 and installed it with FSX SP2.The trouble is that I can't change anything in the config manager. When I open it, the default is 'medium' and 'beige'. I select 'high' and 'grey', click 'save settings', get a message confirming that all has been saved, and then I exit. However when I reopen FSX and load the J41 it gives me the beige panels again! I want grey panels and realistic (high) settings but I can't get it to save!Any idea's?ThanksRichard

I think this was one of those things that you need to run as administrator regardless of where you have FSX installed. Meaning, I have it on my D: but think I still needed to run as admin for it to save my changes.*Right Click it and choose "Run as Administrator".

Yeah that's done the trick thank you! The bad news is my job's taking me away for 6 weeks so I'll have to wait now to use it! That said I just opened it up and it looks stunning! Very Happy.

Glad to hear it Richard. Stinks about work, but just be glad you're employed ;)I'd gladly take your place Money%20Eyes.gif
