All of a sudden I get black spray behind the A/c, also the wing vapor trails are also black.Ran the repair disk to no joy.Anyone have any, ideas, havent changed settings in Inspector;the card a 570 is brand new ithe the latest drivers.Would appreciate any feedback.

This is usually a sign that your video card is overtaxed. You can lower your FSX settings a bit or a lot of the times, if this happens, simply go to Options, Display Settings and then click OK and everything should return to normal.

......or better yet some of your effects files are missing or causing problems. Did you recently uninstall any aircraft or perhaps install any 3rd party effects such as contrails?Some developers make custom effects files that replace the existing files however not all devlopers replace the existing files when their respective software is uninstalled.What version of FSX do you have installed? And which repairs did you run? The repair should replace a missing FX file if thats is the case.Regards,Bob
