I finally got FPS Limiter up and running with FSX but even though the target rate is set to 30 and my FSX slider is at unlimited, the fps display still fights staying at 30 or so and jumps up into the 40s and down to 30s quite often. I realize it can't stay at a steady 30 but is this normal that it fluctuates like this? Upon startup I got a rather large green print of FPS setting being 30 so I know it's working.Also, I tried to put the "limited" bat file startup on my desktop but when I double click it, the black window just flashes momentarily. When I double click on it in the directory where the GUI file is, it starts up fine and starts up FSX. Does it have to be in this directory in order to work which means I have to open the directory every time I start up FSX? Thanks. Tom

Put a shortcut to the bat file on your desktop.Mine never goes above 30, but will go lower in heavy areas like NYC.Dave
