February 7, 200422 yr IMHO using Micro$oft instead of Microsoft is not really helping your case. If I was an MS employee I would have stopped reading after the first line.

February 7, 200422 yr Even if there will be a patch (which I doubt), they would only concentrate on the most severe bugs and errors. Improved weather, ATC etc. would have to wait utnil FS 2006. This is why I don't trust that supposed norwegian MS developer, because improving sky colours would NOT be very high on the priority list.BTW, the 3d clouds work fine on my system and I have a 2.2 GHz AthlonXP, Radeon 9700 Pro and 512MB of RAM. -
February 7, 200422 yr Well said. And of course all the enhancements he lists are not an issue for a patch but for a service release which is an entirely different beast altogether.Of course after this time there won't be a patch (which is an emergency update to fix critical problems of which there are none) but a service release if any update were released!my ranting about the differences between patches and service releases: http://hornet.demon.nl/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=WhatsaPatch
February 7, 200422 yr I have an inside source that says the rumor is TRUE! They also advised that MS will deliver the patch to each of us via a "flying pig" !!!Don't hold your breath,JimBob"Master of the Senior Moment"
February 7, 200422 yr hmm, your sources must have misheard or maybe plans changed. My sources specifically mentioned seeing pictures of flaming dragons delivering the stuff.
February 8, 200422 yr Us FS04 beta testers have not heard about one, neither have the MS guys! :-lolSnake oil I say is what the "insider source" has! :-) :-wave http://fsgateway.com/frank/fs9paibeta.jpg
