My suburbs have no roads

Featured Replies

I have seen screenshots from others showing suburbs with roads, but none of my suburbs have roads. You can see where the roads should be, but there are no roads except for the major highways. Is there a setting I have to set? Or is it just glitching on my end? I'd post a screenshot but I'm at work and didn't think to post this last night.

First possibility: They are not in the source data. Check http://www.openstreetmap.org/. That's what is in the Sim.Second possibility: Turn up the settings for roads in the rendering settings to the maximum.

The setting you're looking for that controls roads isNUMBER OF ROADSI try to set it to TONS or MEGA TONS to make sure any roads I need to nav by to find my house are there. Doesn't seem to affect my FPS much at all.woweezowee is also correct if you're in a part of the world that OSM doesn't have data for the streets, you won't have any streets. So check OSM to make sure you the proper roads where you're looking. Seattle should be full of roads and houses along those roads (given the NUMBER OF OBJECTS is high enough).

I'll check that setting, thanks. I'm flying in the Seattle area with the demo, so I know there should be roads there.
